Original Founder Peter Zarcades and Managing Partner David Trakman Take Niki To New Heights
Niki Developments was founded by Peter Zarcades in 1979. The company expanded, and in partnership with United Midtown Properties formed The Midtown Niki Group. Over the last 35 years, the group built up its single-tenant portfolio, focusing on build to suits and sale-leasebacks with national and regional tenants ranging from fast food restaurants to drugstores. The group continued to expand and began developing joint venture relationships – providing equity to developers for grocery anchored centers, hotels and value add opportunities. After many successful years together, the companies now pursue separate futures – as The Niki Group moves on from Midtown.
